Scarred and limping,

Struggling within to illuminate the 1st command of "let there be light, "

She wonders, "How could God use a speckled lamb like me?"

Don't You want the one without a spot or blemish?

I know I don't qualify,

Yet You clean me up and use me.

Her anxiety was replaced with peace.

Her longing for romance was replaced with intentional time of self care and love.

At the pinnacle moment of her life, she's resting.

In the storm, she sleeps.

You tell me to walk on the waters with you.

In fact, you tell me that I'm already there.

You telling me that the waters won't drop me- just be where my feet are and don't skip ahead.

You tell me I am Your Child, and that what I see is not all there is.

You tell me to keep the faith and to be present.

You tell me to walk on the waters with You.
