The Night Is Over?

I grew accustomed to the dark conditions.

Now you're telling me the night is over?

I grew used to the stillness of the night and

the chants of the predators.

Now you're telling me the night is over?

I see a faint light peaking over the horizon.

Could that be the Sun?

I don't know.

All I've ever known is the Moon.
