As I navigate this season of my life where my next step is still uncertain, I notice my tendancy of trying to "scramble" for direction. It didn't take long to figure out that just because I am "making moves," it doesn't mean I'm automatically going in the right direction. So, I'm learning (or I should say relearning through hard lessons of exhaustion and failed attempts) to work with what God has placed already in my hands as I wait for what's to come.

While I get back to my playlist of songs echoing Psalm 46:10, I'll drop the message I've been hearing a lot lately. "Your season is going to come in its time. So, allow the time to be spent stewarding what God has given you rather than neglect it as you wait for 'more to come.'" (Roger that. Over & Out.😄)

Your passions matter. God did not place such beautiful creativity in you- for you to not use it. Let your passions be wink in the direction God wants you to go in.🧡💛

I suppose

the goal is to do what you can be proud of

today.

Tomorrow is hoped for,

but Today is where we live.

To walk with God is like developing a friendship,

There are ups and downs, but growth is always sure to come.

I've found that walking with God isn't a race to be perfect. It's when I let go of trying to be "the perfect vessel" that growth happens in the most unexpected way.

Tomorrow is treated like a lost love- longed for is Tomorrow's embrace.

Today is the partner we have now- overlooked and sometimes taken for granted is Today's love.

It's okay to hope for a better tomorrow- but as you dream remember that Today is your gift.

Today is where we dwell- it's the home where we'll always be.

To keep trying isn't graceful or charming.

Sometimes, it looks like picking up the shattered pieces- even with the possibility of getting cut in the process.

🌻Keep going, love. Your journey may not be perfect- that's okay. Perfection was never the goal- growth was. 🧡🧡

Not all progress is celebrated because not all progress can be measured. Regardless of who is (or isn't) in your corner, celebrate your good works. You haven't given up, even though the fight has been long. 👑🧡

Being a soon-to-be graduate, I find myself worrying about what the future holds for me. Such a question can be consuming lead to fear and stress; however, seeing that life doesn't "start" after milestones. I'm learning that life is as simple following God's lead and the journey is now- not "one day."

For some writing is a chore, and sometimes, it feels that way even to writers. The relationship between you and what you love isn’t always perfect. That's where effort comes in.

Yesterday is done.

Tomorrow is always hours away.

All we have is today.

In trying to appreciate my life for what it is instead of worrying about "what it could be," I try to be present in every moment. I don't always get it right, but trying is better than staying stagnant because progess is always sure to come to those in pursuit.

Growing is a process- usually a slow one. There's no need to beat yourself up because you're not progressing as fast as you'd like. Showing yourself grace and having patience during times of transition is like adding wood to your fire- it helps nurture the growth.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -God (Isaiah 41:10)

We face many challenges in life. Sometimes, the answer isn't to pray for a change in the situation, but rather a change in our hearts, so that we walk on in faith.
