Dear Sista,

When God created you, He did so with a purpose and in love. In a world where consumption is king, it is easy to lose yourself in others. There are so many distractions and opinions all around; however, the key is to keep yourself grounded.

God created you with a unique perspective for a reason. You don't need to measure yourself by the standards of the media or outsiders. Looking for others to tell you who you are is like asking the blind to lead you where God has directed you.

Other people's opinions do not define you. No matter how loudly a person may shout who they think you are, it does not make it true. Embrace who God has created you to be. Please, don't dim your light because you don't understand why it shines so uniquely. In a world so dim, your light is the answer that calls others out of the shadows.
